Nieuwe scheidsrechtercursus van start!

Een van onze gewaardeerde leden en tevens een bondsscheidsrechter; Alex Ceano, heeft in samenwerking met basketbalverenigingen BAL en Venlo Sport Crusaders vrijwillig een cursus opgezet voor de licentie basketbal scheidsrechter 2. Bij de eerste workshop afgelopen maandag in Weert waren zeker 30+ toekomstige-gelicentieerde scheidsrechters aanwezig van de 3 clubs gezamenlijk(Waaronder 12 van Achilles’71!). Dit is een licentie die officieel vereist is om te scheidsen bij wedstrijden op verenigingsniveau.

De tweede workshop van deze drie-delige cursus zal op vrijdag 13 mei plaatsvinden in Venlo van 19:30 tot 21:30 en tot slot zal de derde workshop plaatsvinden in Nuenen op zondag 12 juni vanaf 11:00.

De club wenst alle aankomend-scheidsrechters enorm veel succes met de cursus en bedankt Alex voor al zijn onafgebroken inzet! Aan het einde van het seizoen staat de teller als het goed is inmiddels al op 20+ leden met een nieuwe scheidsrechterslicentie dankzij Alex. Een ontwikkeling die de basketbalervaring van alle partijen in Nuenen alleen maar ten goede kan komen!

One of our respected club-members and also a committed NBB official; Alex Ceano, has voluntarily taken it upon himself to organize a course for the license of ‘basketball referee 2’ for our members in collaboration with basketball-clubs BAL and Venlo Sport Crusaders. The first workshop of the course took place last Monday in Weert and counted 30+ collective participants from all 3 clubs(Including 12 from Achilles’71!). The BS2 license is a requirement for referee tasks on the club-level.

The second workshop in this 3-part course will take place on Friday the 13th of May in Venlo from 19:30 until 21:30 and the third and final workshop in the course will happen in Nuenen on Sunday the 12th of June from 11:00 onwards.

The club wishes all soon-to-be licensed referees good luck in completing the course and thanks Alex for his continuous dedicated efforts! At the end of the season the count should be 20+ Achilles’71 members that have Alex to thank for a referee license which can only improve the overall quality of the basketball experience when playing in Nuenen for all parties involved from here on out!
